Once you have filled out the claim form completely and you can scan the signed form and email it to claims@dc.myguardiangroup.com. A Guardian Group claims handler will contact you as soon as possible.

At Guardian Group, claiming a loss, damage or theft is a simple routine. We’ll have you back up and running in no time! Take a look at the steps below to see what you can do to help the process. Complete these steps and contact Guardian Group or your insurance broker. Always do this before presenting a claim:

  1. Theft, loss, vandalism or accident involving others: report the incident to the police, ASAP. They will draw up a report on your verbal evidence. Any damage you may discover later will be reported in an additional police report and can be claimed later.
  2. Very serious damage, fire, or personal injury? If necessary, contact emergency services at once.
  3. If the fire or water damage is small, do what you can to contain further damage.
  4. Collect any evidence, for example, in relation to damaged, lost or stolen property (receipts, warranty certificates, invoices)
  5. If possible, take photos of the situation to explain how it happened.
  6. Present your claim to Guardian Group or your broker as soon as possible.
